The "Drag-Net" program was in Ontario CALIFORNIA not Canada. According to news reports "Each vehicle was suped up with illegally modified or stolen auto parts, the typical gear for illegal street racing .
I cannot see anywhere that this was said to be in Canada, but cars can be crushed here as well, it could belong to someone else and it still gets crushed.
