Most law enforcement agencies are switching to lidar, which operates at the speed of light. A lidar detector will not help you, its like hearing a gunshot. By the time you hear it you're already dead.

I suggest one of these, pretty expensive though.

They are the only USA brand that works except for blinder, be wary of everything else. Also make sure they are legal were you live. I believe the blinder is a lot cheaper, but only works well on smaller cars. It would probably work well on a crossfire. Most of these also detect radar, but don't jam it.
