First, wrong forum. This is for FORUM troubleshooting, not car troubleshooting.

Posting this in Coupe or Engine forums would be better.


Anyway, you are describing a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor. When you order one, don't accept it unless it is a BOSCH part. There are generic parts that seem to cause problems, the car came with a Bosh and I have never heard of problems with the Bosch part.

They can be ordered online from autohaus in Arizona, I think JOEtlc.com has them as well. Autohaus charges around $55, your local Chrysler dealer will charge well over $100 (but at least it will be a Bosch).

There are threads here about this, it is quite an easy replacement - search "CPS".
