Sorry to hear about your bad news but was happy that everything is turning around. Hope your wife is feeling better and your daughter's car is all set.

Lauderdale, a 25 min drive. I left the office at 12:50 and arrived at 3:20. Why? After I left the office the trans went into limp mode. I called AAA. That took 45 minutes for the flatbed. About 25 min later on the expressway I hear a pop and we had a flat on the tow truck. Has duals on the rear so another 20 minutes later we continue..... 5 miles and pop.... 2nd tire blows. 20 minutes and I said take the car down off the flatbed....... I put the car in reverse and trans engages and I leave..... It gets better.....not
I arrive at the shop for a 30 minute change trans filter and fluids.. The fluid was not delivered. My daughter picked me up at 7:00. Went to the Hard Rock for dinner. That was fun
On Friday I went to play in a pro am. On my way home with my SRT I hear this sound that I thought was the belt coming apart. I pulled off the side of the turnpike and opened the hood, looked under the car and saw nothing. I drove the next 20 miles apprehensive. I got home and again opened the hood and looked under the rear of the car. Nothing. When I stood up I glanced at the rear window and just shook my head.. What a way to end the week.
Now I didn't mention that my daughter's SRT front bumper was backed into a month ago by a 17 yo while the car was parked at home and dealing with him and his father with no insurance. (Found out today the car was insured because the title was not transfered and the insurance company is sending a check today) Or Sirius/XM tried to bill me $400 for a 2 years contract on a radio I haven't had for 5 years. That took me several hours to straighten out.
So today was a very good day. All positive.
Last week was a biotch.
