Re: Custom Dual CAI - 160$
Keep in mind that if you want front mount filters. You will need different parts. Instead of x2 1 foot long straights you would want x1 3 inch 2 foot 90 degree mandrel, x1 2.5 inch 2 foot long mandrel bend, x2 3 to 2,5 inch silicone reducers, one less 3 inch coupler, 1 less 3 inch t clamp and add 1 2.5 inch clamp.
You will also need to be able to cut out the notches in the pipes, inside of the rubber tee, at the throttle body inlet part of the tee, to give it the airflow that it needs.
I drove it without cutting those pipes for a brief comparison and it was a different animal lol.....
If you decide to go with maxcichon's set up, you will also beed to meticulously abd perfectly craft and weld two 90 STAINLESS STEEL degree bends into one wye tee (Do not weld aluminum for this piece...) This piece may end up proving expensive, time consuming, trial and error plus labor from a welder. But you might nail it right off the bat.
That's Your call. It's always good to have some variety. His definately looks more proffessional from a oroffessional standpoint but aside from that, you can't really tell on mine either....
Have fun!!!
