Custom Dual CAI - 160$
Re: Custom Dual CAI - 160$
Yea, I'm not making any claims to be better than needswings intake, but for 1/7th the price and 1 hour of labor, this is definately a VIABLE UPGRADE. I might gain a couple horsepower from the needswings intake, maybe a noticeable amount more, that's up in the air at this time...
But just for the whine and VERY noticeable gain I have already gotten, I am getting more power over the SL55 airbox upgrade, and a MUCH MORE PREVALENT WHINE from the supercharger. I'm getting at the cery least 15 WHP out of this and maybe even more after I order the "Doesn't NeedWings" emblem to weld on the pipes and the can of spray on teflon.
I will be sure to take my Stock srt6 airbox to the tune and see my max because I want the best I can get for the price. If I'm only getting 8-10 whp then yea, definately needswings. But I will with both that way the ecu tune isn't a factor.

Re: Custom Dual CAI - 160$
I believe it was shortly after I had approached Rob with the design I made up to complement the single CAI. That would have been 2008 but I did not have the records.
Correction: I found my photo album and have included the images in an album that I just added these photos to. They are the last two photos on my computer, showing the dyno result and the album cover. The date of the work is 10-05-2008. I found this among the other books I made up, was very buzy then it appears, have rested of late, yeah. Woody

This is my album showing the Rudy / Rob intercooler install....
Enjoy, Woody

We have a woman welder here that it has been said can weld aluminum foil to a tin can! I don't know about that but she does have a reputation as the best welder around and I can attest to her ability. By the way, I haven't had much luck welding aluminum either.
