We DO get tired of answering the same questions... and truthfully, you really need to make up your own mind. I've been here for 3 years and now am considering the move to an SRT. When I think back, it SEEMS like anyone with an SRT is plagued with CONSTANT problems - but fact is, mostly, it's modification work and "tweaking" done after the mod.
I can't remember ANYONE (even those who track their cars) who posted that they were left standing by the road with their car (except for the occasional CPS failure, but that gets all of us, and Im not worried, I carry a spare CPS!)
I just posted in the "chat box" that the best thing a noob can do, is sit in an easy chair on a rainy afternoon (when "she" is out shopping) and read a lot of threads! ANYONE can praise or knock the car, but it's all attitude, some people whine when a tire goes low, some laugh it off when a rod goes flying - best to make up your OWN mind.
The SRT is a hell of a weekend toy, and many here drive them to work every day. It seems to be a HELL of a platform for modding and customizing, and people like Ron at NeedsWings have a long list of stuff you "must have".
But seriously, if you are a car guy, a REAL car guy (not a poser like me) - then you have tons of reading to do. Not to say you won't have questions, but if you read enough - you'll even know WHO here to talk to.
The journey to learn about this car will be a big part of the fun (not as big as trying to keep up with certain characters on the Dragon, but stilll...)
