My 19 year old son had to remove the muffler 15 min after he purchased the car. Made one clean cut in case I had to weld the muffler back on. Very surprised, thought it would be much louder. Picked up a flex exhaust pipe and a couple of double exhaust tips from pep boys and with a little cutting we had a triple oval exhaust. One oval is a dummy and we painted the inside flat black to match the carbon on the working tips. Really looks and sounds good. Did the same on a v6 fiero lambo kit 4 years ago, only xFire sounds much better. Mentally it feels faster but I only drove it a few minutes before the muffler removal
