I have owned this car since 2006, and now you name the problem mine has it. The rear end whines, i can not fill my gas tank(dont know the cause), the stereo fried its wiring (it was completely stock), which also fried the alarm system so the locks and alarm do not work at all, the engine consumes oil like no other. The car has 120,000 miles and no modifications as of yet. In September i am going to begin piecing together everything i need to put in a shortened solid axle 9" ford rear end with 3.55 gears, aeromotive a1000 stealth 15 or maybe 20 gallon fuel cell and pump package, complete new stereo and alarm going to try for around 1200W RMS, and will figure out if a LS2 or LS based corvette engine will squeeze in the engine bay mated to a 5 or maybe 6 speed manual transmission. I also want to do a mercedes sl500 front end swap i know there is extensive fabrication that will need to take place but if anyone has any input on this project i would love to hear what u have to say
