So, I'm driving home getting off work. When im going to turn the corner, I see a police cruiser sitting in the median. I put on my turn signal and turn the corner. Before I could get in my driveway I see the police behind me with the lights flashing and I pull over in front of my house. I put my window down as he asks for my drivers license. I ask what's him what's going on. He says my turn signal in the back is the wrong color. He says Texas law states it should be white and mine is not. I told him these are stock lights and not modified. So I ask him if we can go check it out so I can see as well. I put on my turn signal and proceed to the back of my car and sure enough the bulb is an orange color. His partner runs my license that I gave them and it comes back clean, of course and gives it back to me. Anyhow, he says they are not making a big deal but this is the law. I tell him maybe I'll get the lens painted or something just to get him off my back. We finally part ways and I go without a ticket. Then I pull into the driveway and check out the orange bulb again in disbelief. Well, this is what I just went through and was wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else.
