When I'm driving and it happens my fin comes up, I lose all gear except for what gear I'm in at the time it happnes. And if I stop and put it in park and then try putting it back into gear and hit the gas it's like its in netural. So what does the RCM do?
The RCM pretty much controls power to just about all of the important things in car. I would read that thread and try to fix it myself before i let the dealer rape me with the cost of a new RCM.
