You have enough sense not to spray rubber all over your car.
I am not trying to dog anyone, but this stuff has been around for quite a while, and while it is a very cheap way to change the appearance of certain items, IMHO it looks very rough when you are up close. I prefer paint, powdercoat, hell, even wraps are much better. Good for trying things out, but I would never drive around a car like ours with home depot rubber paint all over it...
Feel free to flame me all you want, there is no vinyl, rubber, or anything but custom paint on my car.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I cant speak for others but I'm not one to get pissed off just because you dont like something I do lol. IMHO I dont like your rims. I like the style but I dont like that they are flush, I like lips. In any case, this started as more of an experiment. I wanted to see what it would look like black before I go out and do it using permanent materials. The window suround is wrap, the slasher stripes are wrap and those will stay. But the rims, grill, and door handles will be done legit eventually. I understand what your saying and I used to agree and still do to an extent, but once this stuff is bonded it is smooth as paint... So I dont know where you are getting the whole "rough" look from.
