Its essentially liquid rubber in a spray can that dries solid with a little texture... Not sure how shipping internationally would go as its contents are under pressure... is that an issue?

though it looks like Amazon UK might have some for you

There are two ways you can do the inside of the door handles. Either take them off and spray, or buy the non-spray liquid and brush it on. Mine arent done on the inside (fully) and they are still holding up great.

There are loads of videos on You Tube, check em out. I prefer a wrap personally but plastidip is a more economic alternative. They have released new colours in can form as well.

I watched a few videos on youtube before I did it, they didnt help at all, and most of them did it the hard way (masking everything off). My advice is buy a can and do it. Its a $9 experiment, if you have enough money to buy a xfire, you have enough for a $9 paint can. If you dont like it, peel it off lol.

Watch the dipyourcar videos with fonzie, you don't have mask off anything unless your painting body parts, for the wheels all you gotta do is cover the rims but I'm sure you know that cause you already dipped your wheels, and did a good job i might add

I watched some of those videos. They just all make it seem more complicated than it is... I didnt tape anything off, I have said this multiple times per page on this thread including my OP. The whole point is not to, it creates more work. Thanks for the rim comment. They arent as great anymore being that I have had a tire patched and I didnt coat the back enough... but they will be better when I get more eventually. lol

I got my cans from Home Depot for $5 and some change. Did my wheels, windshield surround, strakes. Will be doing the door handles and tinting windows and head/taillights when I get a chance. I already had an aftermarket black grill and installed a black front lip this weekend. I will post some pics soon but love the look over the sliver accents. Buddies at work have given me hell for driving a woman's car... mostly because it is faster than theirs, lol. Having blackened the accents, I have been told it "mans" the car up a bit. I agree

Can I finish this for you?

You have enough sense not to spray rubber all over your car.

I am not trying to dog anyone, but this stuff has been around for quite a while, and while it is a very cheap way to change the appearance of certain items, IMHO it looks very rough when you are up close. I prefer paint, powdercoat, hell, even wraps are much better. Good for trying things out, but I would never drive around a car like ours with home depot rubber paint all over it...

Feel free to flame me all you want, there is no vinyl, rubber, or anything but custom paint on my car.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I cant speak for others but I'm not one to get pissed off just because you dont like something I do lol. IMHO I dont like your rims. I like the style but I dont like that they are flush, I like lips. In any case, this started as more of an experiment. I wanted to see what it would look like black before I go out and do it using permanent materials. The window suround is wrap, the slasher stripes are wrap and those will stay. But the rims, grill, and door handles will be done legit eventually. I understand what your saying and I used to agree and still do to an extent, but once this stuff is bonded it is smooth as paint... So I dont know where you are getting the whole "rough" look from.

I hear what you are saying, and I agree that it can be a good tool to judge future mods before you have something permanently painted. It has been a few years since I have used the product (I have used it for years to coat tool handles, one of its original purposes) and maybe they have gotten it to lay better since I have used it. Most of the cars I see with it, in any sort of sunlight you can clearly tell it is not paint, and it was not applied correctly because of 'air bubble' that have popped, but you can still see the indent of them.

Maybe I will give it a shot one of these days, because it if layed well and was pretty tough, it could be perfect for certain items for sure....

I have seen some cars that looked like crap with it, but I think part of it was what they painted. The pepople who paint body panels shouldnt. I think a big surface like that needs to be actually painted. Small surfaces can turn out good but I have a painting background. Nothing fancy but I have painted alot of different things and experimented on stuff so I know a little more than the average on applying it. Im not sure if that matters, but it could have even been prep. I washed the crap out of all the surfaces first, Im not sure if others are doing it. But give it a shot, It has good uses.

Thinking about "burning" 2 cans to see what my car would look like 2 tone black and flat black. I figure if it looks good, then I can paint. If not, I peel it off. I love the stuff. It is a pretty amazing product for sure. I have actually been paid by some around here to do their grills, wheels, bumpers, etc. after seeing mine, lol. Cool stuff!

Agreed, thanks for discussing and not going nuts

I will indeed try for some other things, I have wanted to paint the exhaust on our SUV for some time due to some surface rust, would this stuff hold up? I thought I read where someone used it on a CAI and it melted or something?
