I will indeed try for some other things, I have wanted to paint the exhaust on our SUV for some time due to some surface rust, would this stuff hold up? I thought I read where someone used it on a CAI and it melted or something?

No problem, I dont understand why people get so offensive about things on this site now. It seems to be happening alot now.

The exhaust may not work, I remember Mimi saying that it melted on his intake, but I thought I had read that they can withstand temps up to 600*, which still wouldnt be enough for an exhaust but for an intake....... In any case you could try it and see. He may not have let it cure completely either. If it doesnt work I would just Rustoleum the sucker, or try to get rid of it with goof off or something like that.
