Drove my Crossfire to a strip mall, as I was pulling into the parking lot I noticed an older model red Jaguar XJS and a later model red Corvette, both looking really nice. I also noticed a stately older gentleman with shoulder length silver hair walking, apparently from one of these cars, in my direction. At that time I spotted a safer parking spot so I drove on over to it and the old man was actually following me, which I thought was a little odd. When I got out of my car he approached me and said he wanted to look at my Crossfire because he doesn't see them very often. He went on to tell me how much he liked the uniqueness of the Crossfire and then told me his automobile history which included racing the Jaguar XK 120.(he owned the red '78 XJS) He was an interesting fellow and I would not have had this encounter had I not had my Crossfire.
