Agree with all the positive comments about the Cruise. Seeing everyone, and the long line of Crossies at the park was way cool.
Regarding Eric Staddard ....... way before a lot of the Crossfire attendees arrived, I happened to be talking with a couple of people in the front of my car, and I happened to notice a fairly short man on a small folding bicycle standing about 6 feet in back of them. Ordinarily I wouldn't pay too much attention to someone like that, but the fact that he was bald and wearing unique sunglasses, I recognized him as Eric. I said, "Eric?", and he responded yes. I was astounded! He said he just happened to be at the park just checking things out, and saw our line-up of Crossies. He was very gracious, and as I let people know who he was (with his permission), he just let us shake his hand and take pics, and gave autographs. As it turned out, he was having a huge BBQ party at his home, and couldn't stay, but said he would try to make it back on Saturday at some point, but that never happened because his BBQ was too busy. I had given him my cell number when he was there on Friday, and don't you know it, he called me on Saturday and invited anyone of us to come to his home (he only lives a couple of miles from the park area), during his BBQ party to visit. Some of us did, as evidenced by the pics posted previously.
He also suggested to me, that next year, we plan a dinner party, so we all could get together. SO....ORGANIZERS...PUT THAT ON THE AGENDA. He has given
