Personally, I'd like to do the Lake Shore Drive cruise, but am open to anything.

They do allow Tailgating in the parking lots, prior to the race, which should be in the evening.

Why not combine the two ...... a leisurely drive down Lake shore Drive, add in a stop for lunch at Mannys' Deli, then on to Joliet (by way of 55), and watch the metal fly, after a tailgate visit of course.

What do you guys who have posted in this thread think of a drive to Chicago and a cruise on Lake Shore Drive and then back out to Joliet to watch women's Demolition night ??
The route plan will work quite well actually.

We should decide rather quickly so we can all individually order our $16.00 general admission tickets before they sell out !!
