Limited and base model different transmissions? Interesting. These days the finance guys have the last word and I cannot see how this is cost effective. If MB used un-usable throw-a-way-scrap parts there would still be the production and service costs. I find this just as interesting as the part being discussed.

I have an automatic and considered replacing my Miata with a stick NA but after driving two sticks decided to keep the Miata. I think the long clutch motion would be a bigger issue than the trim.
