Hi more or less since I bought the car. The engine warning light intermittedly came on then about 9months later it stayed on... for about 3 months but drive perfectly. Then went out for a week or so then on... ya get the idea...
Google the problem and done me head in with all the possibilities it could be...
Started putting the super unleaded in for a while seemed to be better, but costly
Some days to go to work is 120mile round trip!
A friend suggested BGT22 engine enhancer/cat cleaner used 1 tin of that, the car ran smoother but light still on now n then about 2 weeks later put bottle of cataclean in.
About 3 weeks later no engine warning light at all, problem seemed solved..... yeay
5 months on warning light starts. To stay on when it likes to. So ordered the cataclean
Again, picked this 1 instead of the bgt22 because it is very sticky (more chance to stick to the catalytic converter sensor.

Is this a common fault on crossfires or have I got bigger problems!!!
Bought from amazon £15 ish.
My last car failed mot due ro engine warning light being on.
Had it checked at main dealer... have me a estimate of £2200 + vat for new obc & catalytic converter they said was damaged because of computer malfunction.....
So ended up scrapping it, due to the fact the car was only worth about £2400...
Wish I had tried a cat cleaner 1st.
