Like I said previously, I averaged over 40mpg in the smart roadster round town which I know is high in comparison but our other car is a BMW 325i Msport (auto) which is really bad, average 18mpg.

I know everyone drives differently, but im no boy racer and generally drive round town, would it be wrong of me to expect figures of 30 mpg?

Ive been offered 2 crossfires:

1. 2004 (54 plate) 41k miles, 2 owners, FSH, silver/blue , Tax/MOT, 2 tone interior, recent service with all filters etc, private plate (which I will sell) - £4k
2. 2005 (54 plate) 23k miles, 2 owners, FSH, silver/blue, TAX/MOT, Dark grey interior, recent service with all filters etc,has boot cover - £4.8k

They are both in excellent condition apart from wheels have some kerbing.

I would appreciate your input to the MPG figures.

Many Thanks
My 2 cents ( or pence, or farthings or whatever ) : spend the extra 800 pounds and get the one with lower mileage .... ( what's a boot cover ? )
