It takes courage to have faith. It takes absolute strength to walk in it. As others below have mentioned, I don't even pretend to anticipate the date/time of the "end", as mine could be tomorrow. So if that's the case, the SRT-6 will have to do as my escape pod.
I support you in your decision, though, and I will always consider you a friend. Swing back in from time to time and say hi.

Curtis it was a pleasure to drive with you during the times we had. You followed what was in your heart when you moved back East and you must follow your heart where it takes you today/tomorrow. I agree with Mark in hoping it is not the end as you feel as no matter the times, there is always real hope the proper change will in fact come about in this country and even the world...knowing humans however, I fully expect they will somehow continue to screw things up.

Hey! Psalm 4 is a good reference to add to your life. James 1:2-4 is God's Word about how to respond to our troubles. Rejoice in suffering is how we walk Brother. Our strength is not of this world.
