Not neccesarily. Check the fluid for metal shavings, if it's excessive then keep the original fluid (hopefully not too bad or a rebuild is in your future, lol). But if it's minimal and just dirty, go ahead and swap it out.

I changed my plug wires for peace of mind, plus I was already in there so figured why not.
