Question Brake booster vac line...killin' me.

Alrighty....

I guess my car is one of those that nothing AM wants to fit.

While trying to install the DCAI I broke the brake booster vacuum line nozzle that inserts into the supercharger. The circular cap that goes over the SC port was broken too.

So I got both parts in today, but can't for the life of me find a way that the vacuum tube locks into the supercharger. Without the cap installed, the white nozzle does not go all the way in, leaving about 1/4" exposed. And whether I put the cap on first or try to install it with the tube, it never locks. So the tube can be easily pulled out.

This is an issue because the CAI on that side presses reward on that tube, causing it to come out of the port. I'm checking with Rob about the clearance issue. But shouldn't that tube lock in place somehow?
