There really wasn't all that much R&D $$$ spent on the Crossfire. Take a MB SLK 320, pop on a different body, put on bigger wheels/tires, redo the suspension a little, make some other minor changes and voila... a Crossfire built in Germany by Karmman for Chrysler. But you knew all that, right?
