I keep forgetting about tuning and that's the best reason I can think of for a GM swap. I hear the torque argument all the time. I have a 205 5.7 300C and it's not as powerful as a LS1 but I had it and my SRT-6 both on the dyno and guess which one has more torque at 2500 rpm to redline? Yep, the 6.
