Haven't gotten to the fuel pump rewire yet. I have to get this s10 out of the garage first. I got a late start on it because I worked on my neighbors Asteroids Deluxe arcade game for a couple of days. Hopefully I can get the s10 done before I go on vacation.

Last weekend I bought a 1936 Pontiac Silver Streak from my neighbor. He had it in his garage for over 20 years. I have been trying to buy it from him for the last year and a half and he finally sold it to me. So now I am looking to sell the Crossfire. I have had a lot of fun with it but I am ready to get back into the classic car scene. I posted it for sale in the classifieds and will be adding more information to that listing. It will be advertised on other sites April 1st along with a video.

Congrats on the purchase, beautiful classic.

So is the car XF 100% complete? Tuned, setup and ready to drive lots of miles?

Only issues are a faulty speed sensor and installing a new oil pressure sending unit. I have a new speed sensor to install and will install a new oil pressure sender as well. I have only gone through about 4 tanks of gas in it. It is not geared for highway travel, over 3krpm at 70mph. It will not pass emissions either. There is so much to go over it will be much easier to do in a video. There is also a small trans fluid leak. I'll look at that when I install the speed sensor. It may be that the front seal has not broken in yet or a pan gasket leak.

Before I bought the Pontiac I was planning on changing a few things.

  1. Install a rack and pinion steering to allow room for a true dual exhaust
  2. Swap the TH350 for a 4l80e or T56
  3. Centrifugal Supercharger
  4. SRT 6 springs and brakes
  5. Bigger fuel pump
It would easily be over 600whp with ~14psi boost
