The 944 like the 65 Corvair, could hold it's own, style wise, in today's world. The pop up headlights would be the only thing that would appear dated. I always fantasized about dropping a 500 c.i. Eldorado motor in the back of that thing. Thanks for the trivia (good information). I considered a Boxster, a Z, and a Mustang before my Crossfire purchase. It was the uniqueness of the Xfire that won me over. Less than a thousand of the SRT 6 roadsters were produced. It has all the earmarks of a collector car. I'll be dead by the time it is, but I like knowing that. Have a great day.
