So the Air Force has chosen to send me from land locked Kansas to this beautiful island call Guam and they say I have to ship my car or sell it. My Crossfire will be on a boat for upto 2 months. I'm not sure if it will be in a crate or not so what should I do to prevent any sort of damage from the salty air?

I'm assuming that if I wax it good before I ship it and wash it when I pick it up I should be good.
