Default Re: P0341 Camshaft postition sensor bad?

While it wasn't the camshaft code, apparently my problem seems more common as I had a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) code. Finally got it out - rather pissy to get at. Not sure if my fingers are too fat, too short, etc. but I couldn't get the electrical connector loose without removing the small heat shield. With the shield in place, I couldn't get to the CPS and exert enough force to release the connector. Once I got that thing off, I could grip the connector with enough force to release it. Rest of removal was straight forward per the link. Other slight difference was I didn't need a flex joint to get at the small bolt that holds on the CPS, just a short extension and 1/4 drive ratchet.

Question is what is the best source for this thing? The MB part is made by Bosch. Who makes the sensors from the Advance/AutoZone/NAPA's of the world? Is it worth while to get an OEM part?

Where ever I have to get it, sure hope that it is the culprit. Car has cut off twicet now galdarnit. Really annoying in the extreme.
