Hey thanks for the tip and link. The $45 with free shipping is pretty good. Just ordered the thing. BTW, are you familiar with this company? I used to live in Charlotte, and there was a VW parts store/garage I did a lot of business with. Can't remember the owners name, but his nickname was "German Joe". This isn't by chance the same outfit that expanded over the years?

I do have to chime in though, it is a Bosch part that left me stranded ! My old MX5 has mainly Mitsubishi electronics. While I've changed the engine, at 21 years and 291k miles, all sensors, coils, ignitor, etc are original !

Oh yeah, where in heck is 43° 52' North, 79° 52' West, Elev 289m? Need more detail - Minutes won't do. Need location down to the seconds and tenths of seconds. Here in Carolina we don't do m elevations. We got us those old foots. We be lower than you, about 650' msl.
