Now that we can totally agree on.. Like I've said before, Just a new HU and broke out F-R channels at the amp, and running an amplified subwoofer off the HU's RCA sub out has made a world of difference.. even my teens say "Dad's jamming out".. LOL
It all comes down to how much you have to have out of it.. how much you want to spend.. $120 Clarion factory refurb HU and a $150 300watt 10" subwoofer amplified cannon got me to totally acceptable. (bass cannon was free..just run with old folks that buy a used car..they hate that stuff! LOL)
I completely agree! Breaking the F-R was a complete transformation, adding subs and tweeters were icing. Now I have electrical gremlins to chase down

The pricing on what you have is spot on for all you need. Since this car is so little its easier to pull a good sounding system out of it. My deck was $149 at the audio stealershop, 2 10's in a ported box were $169 at sonicelectronix, and my componet tweeters were $100 on amazon. Now I just need a good 1000 watt amp that didnt hit production the same time I did.
