these are true 4 ohm , but i think they are supposed to do 2 ohm as well for our cars?
I just looked them up and resistance should be fine but I was confused on the RMS rating... It said 5-75W at 4 ohm's which is weird. In any case our stock amp is only pushing 22W at 4 ohm's I believe. So it could be mounting or just not enough power going to them. In any case HOLY WOW those things are expensive!
Usually if a speaker is rated 150W RMS at 8 ohm then at 4 its more and at 2 its even more, most cant support 1 ohm. Thats a basic summary of what the resistance means. Im not an electrical tech or engineer but thats all the info that matters to me. Hope this helps.
