Not sure that HP in this case is responsible fo rthe cat issues. High milage is one reason for the breakdown, and MB had a history with this engine of failures in the past with the NA version of the motor in several vehicles. Generally the metallic are going to be less expensive so that would be a good option, especially given the milage, but the car is in such great shape and motor is clean as a whistle so I see my ownership lasting a long time.
I wonder if anyone has the flow specs from the oem to be able to find a match?
