You should thank your parents and remind them how much you love them. I will be doing the same thing for my daughter, as long as she gets good grades, but no car at school till third year. She's driving the mini now RHD and being the tree hugger that she is she will probably want one of those hybrids with 50 bhp and ugly. Good luck in your quest, but really if you are only going to have it one year who cares about parts and service.
