Interested, but why a Crossfire?
Randall Noe in Commerce, Texas are still selling their brand new Crossfires for $21k with 4 left in that price! It seems like the brand new ones are selling less than the used crossfires!

It's an '05 limited roadster (program car) and base with 2 left in the lot. Don't have a good customer service though after talking to their lady salesperson. Just another crappy dealership!

And if you like to be noticed and have girls falling all over the car (I have a few dents from that) then you forget about what the car may lack in the 0-60.
Of course this is just my opinion (and my hottie passengers).

Well I'm in Appleton, WI and I'm sitting on 6 crossfires and the managers would like nothing more than for me to sell one or all of them. I didn't read the whole thread but it sounds like you'd really love the car. Just remember it has ALL of its 239 lb of torque at just 3,000 rpm so there is great pickup in every gear at all rpms. And this car will easily get to 130 mph in no time and I can literally let go of the wheel and the car feels like its going 60 its that well made. That's the fastest I got mine going, I have a '05 limited 6 spd just about to turn 10k on the clicker. Its and absolute dream to drive. Lots of looks, this car looks as good sitting still as it does going over a hundred and that to me is a real car. It handles like its on rails, my bro has a '05 GTO and he laughs his as* off at how well the car takes windey roads and he says his car would never be able to do it.

I've been with Chrysler for 2 1/2 years, I can answer all your questions as a sales consultant and an owner of the car in question.

I switched from an '05 Infiniti G35 to the Xfire last September. Given the additional weight and size of the G involved, the Xfire picks up as well as the G(even with 215 bhp vs 280), and handles far far better.
Comfort-wise, it's a wash, with the Xfire edging the G on the long haul. There is an amazing amount of driver legroom, and the controls are such that there is little work involved in driving the car.
The Xfire also carries the "exotic" factor as well. The car simply screams "Look at me!". As a salesman, my car has been priceless in getting people talking. I just like driving something I simply won't see at every stoplight as I do w/ the various forms of BMW out there. my car is unique, and from the production and sales numbers, promises to stay that way.
As to improvements, I have no major issues with the design of the car. I would like to have a roof mount cargo box for golf clubs and travel gear, etc. But I imagine somebody will make one someday. Until then, we use the wife's Jag, which is a whole 'nuther bag of nuts.
