Re: Interested, but why a Crossfire?
I switched from an '05 Infiniti G35 to the Xfire last September. Given the additional weight and size of the G involved, the Xfire picks up as well as the G(even with 215 bhp vs 280), and handles far far better.
Comfort-wise, it's a wash, with the Xfire edging the G on the long haul. There is an amazing amount of driver legroom, and the controls are such that there is little work involved in driving the car.
The Xfire also carries the "exotic" factor as well. The car simply screams "Look at me!". As a salesman, my car has been priceless in getting people talking. I just like driving something I simply won't see at every stoplight as I do w/ the various forms of BMW out there. my car is unique, and from the production and sales numbers, promises to stay that way.
As to improvements, I have no major issues with the design of the car. I would like to have a roof mount cargo box for golf clubs and travel gear, etc. But I imagine somebody will make one someday. Until then, we use the wife's Jag, which is a whole 'nuther bag of nuts.
