Those times are awesome! Thanks for posting the vid’s and pics.

Alright Grip Grip and anyone else who is willing to give some tips.

I am not a racing expert like some of you but I go to the track and do my best but still cannot get my 60’ times near 1.8 sec. The best I have done is 1.97 with a 12.41 qtr at 113mph. I am not running slicks/drag radials yet but I know some have been able to accomplish lower 60’ times without them. It may just require practice!!!

I had EC dyno the car at 375 hp at the rear wheel so I should be able to run better. Also, since I installed the Wavetrac my times and launches did become much more consistent but not where I would like them to be. Rob at NW is presently modifying my stock intake manifolds to get a few more horses under the hood as well so let's hope for faster runs in my future!

A few comments:

1. The picture of Grip Grip’s car with the fans looks crazy. It must work if you are doing it right?...so it looks like I will be bringing fans next time I go to the track.

2. So I am sitting here watching the racing video with the kids and wife sleeping nearby and of course must have the sound on so I can hear the cars passing by. So I get the sound just right so that I can hear it without disturbing everyone else….until some guy blurts out at the end of the run “11.7”. Yeah, I see earplugs in my future.

3. In the picture with the fans, what is the water sprayer for?
