Unfortunately, it's considered in touring class (T3) which is the lowest of the touring car classes in the SCCA... Sorry for all of us... GT is way out of our class... It's like a little girly car as far as the Sports Car Club of America is concerned... We should have done our research first before buying into this BS pseudo sportscar...
Go take a look at the Pontiac Solstice GXP Club Racer... Now there's a true American made sports car with 315 hp and less than $30k... It will be in GT class...
