hey guys, this is only my second post even though i have been a member for about a year. I am the proud owner of a 2004 black x-fire. I love this car!! I recently smacked a deer with it, and low and behold, the insurance company fixed it!!! but since it has come back from the body shop, my interior light does not go out when u close the doors. i have read ALL the other posts that pertain to this problem, but none of them seem to fit. I have read that there is a dome light sensor in the lift gate area, but, for the life of me, i cannot find it. I found the ones on both doors, but the trunk is a mystery. Any help will be appreciated. And please dont tell me to read the threads, as i have, many times. I have fixed every prior problem without posting, as i do read the threads. And i have had EVERY common problem with this car, and have fixed them all thanx to this sites info. The body shop man DID have the lift gate off of the car to do repairs on the rear section, as the deer was hit by the front passenger healight area, shot over the roof and crash, right through my rear glass!
