Well there is some curb rash... Compliments of previous owner otherwise I probably would not bother plus I want a polished aluminum finish that would look a bit different. No offense to your style but I hate chrome, just don't think it belongs on modern cars, will probably paint the front/rear badges low gloss black and debadge the rear.
Sounds like a good plan. They can machine/polish out the curb rash at the same time. Any machine shop with a 12" swing lathe can do this. And pretty quickly too.
