Not that you're biased or anything.
I've talked to many (non-Crossfire) enthusiast over the 8 years of ownership and I've heard many comments about both the SRT's "Ironingboard" vs the NA's "Skateboard" and it seems to be about 50/50.
It's purely a matter of taste.
When I bought my car new, I had every intention of installing the SRT spoiler on my car as soon as possible. Then in less than a few weeks, the novelty of the spoiler's automatic raising and lowering won me over.
But then after driving the car for a few months, I noticed everytime I would come down an on ramp and accelerate to blend in with traffic, the wing would go up, and 50% of the time some "Ricer" would instantly appear out of nowhere and want to race. I mean it was like waving a red cape in front of a bull.lol
That's when I decided I liked the way the car looked with the spoiler down, (as Andrew pointed out) so I installed a kill switch so I could put it up when ever I felt it was needed.
Travelling out West to Denver last year there were several opportunities to see how well the car handled at speeds approaching the century mark and I never felt my car wandering or unstable. But since I was the only one of 5 Crossfires going down the road in formation with my spoiler down, I figured what the heck, and raised the "white flag" (so to speak) and surrendered. And wouldn't you know it. James's Wife "Tammi" snapped the only photo of my car with spoiler up. (Darn Paparazzi).
As for the comment about the spoiler on the NA's functionality, it's as functional as it needs to be to safely cruise at a 150 mph on the autobahn. If it wasn't, Daimler/Chrysler wouldn't have taken a chance on releasing it to the general public. That being said, some may say the SRT's "Ironingboard" is overkill.
