Doesn't matter to me - love the car, and plan on keeping it. I owned an SLK32 AMG and the Xfire interior, *****, instruments, seats, etc. is almost exactly the same - even down to the poor design placement of the cruise control stick. I'll be happy if Chrysler stops producing the Xfire altogether as it just makes mine more limited.
The cruise design is better than most cars take a look at the design. Every control is on the left, so you can shift with your right and still be able to make adjustments to the left. I have no issues physically telling the difference between the turn signal and cruise control, it has become intuitive. The cruise control is higher than the turn signal. Also look there is no controls on the right side.
