Just an update on progress...

I have now built up an ISO interface (see attaché) and tried it on the Crossfire - no joy, it won't communicate, but I know my board is OK because I checked it on a Peugeot 307. It is possible that the car uses the CAN version for OBD so I have ordered another chip from Elm that supports this and built up another PCB for it. I am also awaiting a response back from Elm as the list of ISO scanned cars does include several MB 320 cars, not the SLK though. CAN is now becoming the standard for OBD on new models but find it strange that the Crossfire would be using it since it is based on a old MB platform.

This is all starting to get off the subject of this thread so I'll start a new one in the Technical section in case anyone can give some input.
