I would think so. Around here (middle of Kansas), you can take a car into an Autozone and they'll pull the codes for free. You might take a shot at the shop that recently did the work for you, also. Since they recently did work for you, they might be willing to do it. Either way, post the codes they find (if any).

The reason I am wondering if there are codes is because some owners have had trouble with a connector plate (at least I think that's the name of the part). They have reported that the computer will store a code but the CEL (check engine light) won't light.
