The factory subs are very unique. They have diual voice coils but are not traditional. The OEM amp has a positive wire, a ground, and then two toher wires that carry the frequency.
Hmmm, I thought the dual coils were just to handle the higher wattage in a smaller package and that they were just parallel coils each doing the same job at the same time...
