If you lower you will need something eventually. You technically don't have to get anything extra but you will eat through tires quickly. To do the job right you will need something to at least adjust camber front and back. If you have an SRT, swapping to NA springs and konis would soften up your ride but you wouldn't be any lower. (Would also lose some handling)
