It's pre-bent, rigid, and the ends are both flared to facilitate the connection. I've got the original back on fairly secure thanks to some stretchy black tape around the end. I'd really like to use the right hose for the job, rather than just be "good enough"...

Of course, I'll no longer need the hose once I get the Needswings CAI... Just about have the wife talked into it....
