Having MOT'd and taxed it today I took the SRT out for the first time since early December, a good run up to York and back and around 200 miles on A & B roads. I find that compared to the Std XF this one has a harder ride, harder seats, so not as nice on long journies. It also tram lines more, and doesnt corner as well, being very skittish especialy at the back, and generaly less stable when cornering a bit harder. Though Ive tried 32psi 34psi and 36psi, Ive had this tyre set up on three XF's now so have a basis for comparisn. Its such a shame it sounds more like a transit van than a sports car, and Ive even removed and refitted the exhaust system to check for leakes. May be I was spoilt by the Startech sytem on the last XF! I may have to go same way as Mo on exhaust! I'm not realy criticising the SRT too much as it is set up very differently to the Std car to cope with the extra Oomph which is fantastic so long the cars going in a straight line lol. Maybe the French trip will convince me
