I'll start off with a Scotch I had recently... 12 year old GlenLivet. Smooth draw, nice flavor that is bold but not harsh. A great full-bodied drink, notes of leather. $44 a bottle (retail)...
Glenlevit is a great scotch and readily available at the better bars. Of the Glens I prefer Glenfiddich 18 year old if you can find it. About $44.00 a bottle as well. the 12 year old is also fine at about $38.00 a fifth. A bit smokier than the Glenlevit but very smooth and a nice after bite.

Both are excellent single malts.

A great thread idea Nick. Good choice.

I have brought a bottle to every Dragon I have attended. But Nick, you always slurped on some kinda jungle juice. Glad to see you're growing up a little bit.
