Default Re: Engine Swap #2

Long time since I posted anything on this swap. The turbo part of the swap is on hold for now, I'll go into detail on that part later. I'm finishing up the wiring part of the swap this week. All the mechanical stuff is done except for the alternator bracket. The bracket should only take a few hours to complete now that I have the alternator in the right position. I moved the battery to the trunk. The overflow tank is going in the original battery location. The exhaust exits on each side of the front bumper. Hopefully it's not too loud with the baffles installed. Should be running in a few days if I don't run into any problems. I also am installing a gauge cluster from an 02 Z28. It's plug and play with the warren ECU with the addition of the Dakota Digital VSS I installed on the TH350. The only thing that will require modification is the fuel level sensor. The signal is inverted compared to a Chevy unit. I have a few ideas on how to correct it.
